MÜNZBERG, Godramstein | VDP.GROSSE LAGE®

The VDP.GROSSE LAGE® MÜNZBERG is situated on a gentle 5 to 15 % incline facing south. Keuper marl with shell limestone, sand and loam dominates the soils of this 14-hectare GL. It includes the Schlangenpfiff, which is considered the best parcel of the Münzberg vineyard. Its warm soils evidently attract snakes (Schlangen) and lizards. History: The Godramstein site was included in the Royal Bavarian Land Classification of 1828 with very high ratings.
