The VDP.GROSSE LAGE® LANGENBERG is located above the village Martinsthal at 185 metres a.s.l. The steep 30 to 40 % slope gradient faces southwest to south. The unusually deep, nutrient-rich clay slate soils on the steep slope of the Martinsthal Mountain have good water storage capacity. The Riesling vines here also benefit from optimal solar radiation.
