Michael Fröhlich: The special thing is me, my family and Escherndorfer Lump.

Michael Fröhlich: Expressing my character in the bottle!
VDP: To which wine style do you aspire?
Michael Fröhlich: Clear fruit, Franken style.
VDP: Do you have a favourite grape variety?
Michael Fröhlich: Silvaner!
VDP: Which of your wines would you recommend to someone who does not yet know your winery – as an introduction, so to speak?
Michael Fröhlich: Fröhlich Silvaner dry - from Muschelkalk (shell limestone).
VDP: Of which wine are you particularly proud?
Michael Fröhlich: I am proud of all my wines.
VDP: Why did you become a vintner?
Michael Fröhlich: That is how I grew up.
VDP: Do you have role models, mentors?
Michael Fröhlich: My parents.
VDP: What are your next goals?
Michael Fröhlich: To continue with the same success. To hand over the winery to the next generation – and continue to help.
VDP: How do you combine tradition and innovation?
Michael Fröhlich: Hopefully, good! The Bocksbeutel is and remains a mark of quality; the Silvaner is Franken identity through and through.
VDP: Why should people visit your winery?
Michael Fröhlich: We are located in the heart of the Franken cultural landscape – there is something for everyone!
