HÖLLE - UNTERER FAULENBERG, Gleisweiler | VDP.GROSSE LAGE®
The VDP.GROSSE LAGE® HÖLLE – UNTERER FAULENBERG is a small 3.5-hectare parcel of the Hölle vineyard. The Burrweiler borders it on the east side and the parcel nearly reaches the forest of the 600-metre Teufelsberg. The southeast-facing incline has a 20 % gradient. Typical weathered Bunter sandstone with significant limestone deposits comprises the soils. The limestone warms well and has good water storage capacity. An underground spring also provides vines with nourishment.
