The VDP.ERSTE LAGE® Steinberg Zehntstück lies at 145 to 250 metres a.s.l. and has an impressive steepness of 35 to 40 %. The soils are comprised of sandy and clayey loam. THE EL STEINBERGER is a monopole vineyard that belongs to the Hessische Staatsweingüter. stone walls that are up to five metres high and border Kloster Eberbach. The wine laws of 1971 register “Steinberg” as a village of Hattenheim and thus Hattenheim does not additionally appear on the label.
