HÜTTE, Oberemmel | VDP.GROSSE LAGE®
The VDP.GROSSE LAGE® HÜTTE is located above the little tributary Langwiesbach in the same side valley in which the famous Scharzhofberg is found. The vineyard lies at 280 metres a.s.l. at a slope gradient of 30 to 75 percent. The elevated, rather unprotected position is quite windy. The GL HÜTTE faces south-southeast and south. The soil of the 5-hectare vineyard is rocky-gritty, highly weathered slate.
