STEINBERG, Traisen | VDP.GROSSE LAGE®




The VDP.GROSSE LAGE® STEINBERG is the hilltop that caps the Rotenfels vineyard in Traisen on the west side. The south-facing slope has a steep gradient of 50 % gradient between 250 and 300 metres a.s.l. The soils of the small 2-hectare GL are comprised of volcanic rock – well drained, loamy, weathered porphyry and quartz porphyry.
