The VDP.GROSSE LAGE® FELSENECK in Wallhausen can boast quite a unique treasure: green Dalberg slate. This special kind of green slate is unique and can only be found in Wallhausen and Dallberg. It is a true geological rarity in Germany. This is accompanied with loamy clay and sandy loam. The slopes of the GL FELSENECK have a south to southeast exposition and are classified as very steep with an up to 40 percent gradient. The vineyard area encompasses 14 hectares.
