ProWein 2026
84 VDP.Estates, including 36 organic producers, will participate in ProWein Düsseldorf (March 15–17, 2026) at the VDP stand in Hall 1 to present their new vintage.
From March 15th to 17th, 84 VDP.Prädikatsweingüter will gather at the VDP.joint stand at ProWein in Düsseldorf – Hall 1, Stand 1C190.
At the VDP.stand, the winegrowers organized in the VDP, together with numerous partners, will present their current collections and new products and give a preview of the 2025 vintage. A spacious area will be set up as a workroom for professional tastings, in-depth discussions of vintages and detailed conversations about origin, style and market positioning. All regions will be represented – from the Ahr to Württemberg and from the Mosel, Saar & Ruwer to Saxony. Winegrowers and sales and export managers will be on hand to engage in professional discussions.
Sustainable vineyard management is a daily practice for many VDP.estates. In 2026, there will once again be a separate organic stand within the joint booth, where certified organic VDP.estates will present their wines and share their experiences in organic viticulture.
Delve deeper: Masterclasses & thematic highlights
Konstantin Baum MW will hold two masterclasses on Monday, March 16th, at the VDP.Infopoint (1C190) in collaboration with our partner Gaggenau (2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., each for 20 participants). First come, first served!
The Judgement of Düsseldorf:
In this exciting comparative tasting, Konstantin Baum MW compares VDP.GROSSES GEWÄCHS® wines with top international Rieslings to highlight similarities and differences and show how German Riesling compares internationally.Taste the soil!
Pinot Noir is considered the epitome of a terroir grape variety – but what influence does the soil actually have on the wine? Konstantin Baum MW compares VDP Pinot Noir wines from the same soil type to get to the bottom of the mystery of “soil” through sensory analysis.
This year, we are also placing a special focus on VDP.SEKT and VDP.SEKT.PRESTIGE®. These sparkling wines exemplify artisanal precision, long yeast storage and a clear commitment to origin, even in the sparkling wine sector.
At the information point of the VDP stand in Hall 1 (Stand 1C190) – the central point of contact for our joint stand – visitors will find our specially developed “VDP.Sekt Map”. This overview shows all the stands within the VDP where classified sparkling wines can be tasted, making it easier to plan your visit.
A special highlight of the program is the VDP.SEKT.PRESTIGE® Masterclass with Caro Maurer MW on Sunday, March 15th at 4:00 p.m. in Hall 4 at the ProWein Sparkling Bar. First come, first served!
