The VDP.GROSSE LAGE FELSENECK has been farmed by the family for over 800 years. The first mention dates back to 01 May 1219. No other family cultivates one and the same vineyard site over so many centuries.
Grünschiefer soil is unique and occurs in FELSENECK and Dalberger Ritterhölle. It contains sulfur deposits - therefore the gray/green color. 2021 is one of the parade years for Kabinett wines. The foundation is laid for decades of aging. Salty, vibrant Riesling light on its feet and dancing.
