Over 200 international wine professionals taste the new vintage in Wiesbaden
At the end of August, everything in the Wiesbaden Kurhaus revolved around the top of German wines: the VDP.GROSSEN GEWÄCHSE®. More than 200 of the most influential sommeliers, wine dealers and journalists from 24 countries got a comprehensive picture of the new top wines at a set tasting before the official start of sales on 1st of September.
The experts regularly praise the tasting as the best organised wine presentation worldwide. Over three days, the guests will be transported to their seats in specially arranged flights of their choice.
In mid-October, the VDP organised the VDP.GROSSES GEWÄCHS® tasting with the Institute of Masters of Wine in London, similar to the event in Wiesbaden at the Royal Army & Navy Club. The British tasters were thrilled.
