REITERPFAD - IN DER HOHL, Ruppertsberg | VDP.GROSSE LAGE®
The VDP. GROSSE LAGE® REITERPFAD–IN DER HOHL is a prime parcel within the 77-hectare Reiterpfad vineyard. The soils here are somewhat lighter with a high share of variegated sandstone. Limestone is also occasionally found in the soil mix. The relatively flat site tilts gently toward the south at a 5 percent gradient. Despite this, it is well protected and benefits from both the morning and evening sunshine. The vineyard is one of the warmest in the Pfalz. It is planted mostly with Riesling.
