The new vintage is here - during the VDP.Weinbörse 2019 the VDP.Prädikatsweingüter show their new collection 2018. For more than 45 years, the VDP.Prädikatsweingüter invite to the VDP.Weinbörse in Mainz. On Sunday and Monday, 28th and 29th April 2019, international restaurateurs and retailers will meet at the Great Wine Capital Mainz for the world's largest trade fair for top German wines.

At the VDP.Weinbörse the wine professionals get a comprehensive overview of the vintage of the best German wines, make their new discoveries, secure their contingents and put their portfolios together.

Each VDP.Wine estate, personally introduces its collection of the year 2018 as well as new releases of the previous year to the professional audience for the first time - from VDP.GUTSWEIN to the VDP.GROSSEN LAGE®. The dry tips of the classification pyramid, the VDP.GROSSEN GEWAECHSE® from the VDP.GROSSEN LAGEN®, will be granted a maturity until September. Interestingly, a statistics of indications of origin in the quality wine jobs in Rhineland-Palatinate underscores the private-law classification of vineyards initiated by the VDP, which builds on the principle "The closer the origin, the higher the quality". Meanwhile, nearly 80% of all wines in RLP carry a regional indication of origin (equivalent to estate wine), only 10% of the wines are marketed with single-layer indication, and the segment of local wines increases gradually. Further information follows.
