New look, expanded concept: Around 100 of the 200 VDP.winegrowers will once again be taking part in ProWein Düsseldorf in 2024 and will be presenting themselves on a concentrated 1400 square meters in a new stand design. What will remain is the professional tasting environment for the new vintage at the stands of the VDP.winegrowers, which is appreciated by visitors.

For the VDP.estates, the ProWein "marketplace" is ideal for providing information about the importance of great origins (as defined in the Union systems as protected designations of origin PDO). "Especially for us, who have been committed to preserving the cultural landscape in our DNA for over 110 years, communicating the promise of quality that Germany's vineyards make is a major concern," says Steffen Christmann, President of the VDP.Prädikatsweingüter. Thus, on the occasion of ProWein, there will be a new edition of the "Herkunft prägt" ("Origin shapes") campaign, with which the VDP will emphasize the origin of its wines and thus the vineyards of its winegrowers. 

A total of 27 organically certified VDP.winegrowers or estates in the process of conversion will also be represented at the VDP booth. For them, the goal of "certified sustainability by 2025" agreed by all members of the VDP is or was still to be achieved in the economic and social pillars. The concentrated presentation shows that organically produced wines are becoming more and more established at the top and are increasingly seen as the basis for sustainable work in wineries. 

The VDP.winegrowers will once again be surrounded by the numerous partners of the VDP, including long-standing supporters as well as some new partners, such as the Institute of Masters of Wine, which has been an official supporter of the VDP since last year.
