VDP.RHEINGAU | VDP.AUKTION RÉSERVE 2025

The VDP.Rheingau and the VDP.Estate Kloster Eberbach jointly auction their wines once a year.

Wine auctions have a long tradition in the Rheingau. This tradition was founded in 1806, when the Duke of Nassau had wine auctioned off in barrels for the first time at Eberbach Monastery. We do not want to break with this fantastic tradition in these so special times, and so the VDP.Rheingau together with the Kloster Eberbach Winery are auctioning their wines again this year - but not in the usual form as a "wet auction". Special times call for special measures, and so this year's auction will again take place online without exception.

In addition to the already proven VDP.AUKTION.RÉSERVE wines, the noble sweet top wines and unique wines in large bottles, very special rarities will also come under the hammer this year. These wines will be offered exclusively only through the auction and this also by renowned colleagues who have not participated in the auction in recent years: Wines that are ambassadors and beacons of Rheingau wine culture!
