Vineyard site description  
Small, very sheltered parcel of land next to the river Nahe. Altitude 126 m. Because of its small size the vineyard “Oberhäuser Brücke” was assigned to the site Niederhäuser Hermannsberg with the 1971 wine law. Therefore vintage 1973 was sold under the name “Hermannsberg”. Since vintage 1977 the site was named again Oberhäuser Brücke , exlusively owned by H. Dönnhoff, because of the special kind of wines growing there.

The soil is grey-slate covered with loess-loam.

Even, warm summer with regular rain. Healthy grapes with good yield.
